Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account
  2. Contact your payment provider
  3. If still unresolved, contact us directly

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges

We accept returns for any reason within 30 days. For a different product or size, please return your original item (once accepted) and place a new order. To arrange this, contact us at info@javedcontainersgroup.co.za or +27 61 342 8798. 

Consumer Protection Act (CPA) Compliance In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, consumers have the right to return goods that are defective, not fit for purpose, or not as described. This policy does not limit your statutory rights under the CPA.

Cooling-Off Period If your purchase was made as a result of direct marketing, you have the right to cancel the agreement within 5 business days of delivery in terms of the CPA, without penalty.  Please note that the 5-day cooling-off period applies to direct marketing purchases only. Unpaid orders are subject to cancellation after 48 hours as per our Terms of Service.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
